What We Train

Speed Is a Skill. Learn It.

Not conditioning. Not running laps. Focused, technical coaching on the mechanics that make athletes fast — taught one-on-one and in small groups.

Sprint Mechanics

Posture, arm drive, stride cycle. Speed is a skill — we teach the technique most athletes never get taught.

First-Step Acceleration

Starts, explosiveness, and the first three steps. Where games are won and 40 times drop.

Agility & Change of Direction

Footwork, cuts, and body control. Decelerate, plant, and re-accelerate cleaner than anyone on the field.

Game Speed

Technique only counts when it shows up in competition. We translate track work into your sport.

The Coach

Coach Eddie Arnold

Coach Eddie has lived speed his whole life. A sprinter at William Floyd (Class of 1985), he set the school records in the 100, 200, and 400 meters and was twice named First Team All-County. At Suffolk Community College he set the school records in the 100 and 200 — records that still stand today. At Millersville University he did it again: school records in the 100 and 200, plus the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference records in both — also still standing.

In 1990 he won the 200 meters at the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Track Championship and was invited into the Olympic Development Program, earning a spot on the US 4×200 relay team. That road led to the 1992 Olympic Trials, where he raced against U.S. Olympians Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell, Floyd Heard, and Mike Marsh. He finished his career an NCAA Division II All-American.

Eddie came home to Southampton, where he coaches the Southampton High School varsity track program — his relay teams have been Suffolk County Small School Champions every year since 2005. Now he brings that same technical coaching to athletes one-on-one, on the same track.

“I don't train athletes to be tired. I train them to be better.”
